I work in Early Intervention as a pediatric physical therapist providing services to infants and young children in their homes. I bring a working knowledge of the special education system and a passion for advocating for children with special needs--and all students.
I was elected to the Board of Education in 2021.
I earned my B.S. in Biology from Benedictine University, followed by completing a summer internship program through the Center for the Study of Children in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame. I began graduate studies in Human Genetics at the University of Michigan before attending Northwestern University to pursue a graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
My husband Pete and I have lived in Wheaton for 29 years. Three of our 4 children are graduates of District 200 schools; our youngest child is a current student in the district.
The family also includes 3 dogs who sometimes get into mischief but have found their way into the hearts of all.
EVERY student should have a positive school experience.

Our teachers, staff, and I have one very important goal in common: our students. We work together toward making education a successful experience for every single student. Our teachers and staff are in the trenches--doing the hard work. I am grateful for that.
